La EC-256 dispose également d'un corps en acajou, d'un manche en acajou en trois parties en forme de U fin, confortable et rapide, et d'une touche en jatoba grillé avec incrustations de drapeaux et 22 frettes extra-jumbo.

Cette guitare est équipée de nos célèbres micros humbucking ESP Designed LH-150, qui offrent une sonorité exceptionnelle pour tous les genres de musique, et la souplesse de la séparation des bobines contrôlée par un commutateur push-pull sur le bouton de tonalité.
