The record is perfect. I believe played once or never. .
The cover and packaging may be sealed or as new .
NEAR MINT+ (NM+) It is not possible to establish if the record has been played as it looks in new condition. There are very few if any non-sounding surface marks, with no deterioration in sound quality .
The cover and packaging look new and are in near perfect condition. This is usually the top mark for USED LP's EXCELLENT+ (EX+) The record does show signs of having been played and has some non-sounding marks, but there is very little if any lessening in sound quality .
The cover and packaging may have a little laminate lift, slight wear and creasing with few, if any extra items . VERY GOOD+ (VG+) The record shows sign of having been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and a few light scratchs.
Normal wear and tear on the cover and packaging but without any major defects. GOOD+ (G+) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated usually with some distortion and scratches .
As well as normal wear and tear, the cover and packaging will suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and or discoloration etc. FAIR (F+) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise & scratches; it will probably even jump .
The cover and packaging will suffer from major defects and will be torn, stained and / or defaced - my lowest grade possible.
