Citroen Dyane project

1974 Citroen Dyane project for sale in Normandy.

Car is located in Normandy, France at the base of the Cotentin peninsula.

I've got too many projects at the moment, and this one is at the bottom of the list so I'm not likely to get round to it anytime soon.

The body has been removed and welded, both floors, bulkhead, boot floor have been replaced with new panels, and any other parts repaired as necessary.

Chassis has been replaced with a galvanised one, which has been treated with chassis black and stonechip – the chassis was imported at the same time as the car and dry stored so the galvanising is 'mature' but in excellent condition.

Body has been replaced on the chassis with a proper fitting kit, engine checked over (it was running when I bought it a couple of years ago), together with the gearbox. All doors replaced, they fit correctly.

Almost other parts are available with the exception of the seat covers / rubber springs etc – the seats have been stripped down to the frames as the rest was past saving – and the fuel gauge sender (20 years of resting in old petrol saw that off!). There are a couple of 30 litre boxes of new and used parts to go with it.

Arrived in France from the UK at around the turn of the century, still on UK plates, has been barn stored for almost all of that time. I have the V5 in the previous owners name, and can provide proof of purchase.

Its a right hand drive, drum brake model, so must be getting pretty rare now, and is worth saving.

Would obviously need trailer / transporter to take it away.

We're about 1.5 hrs from the ports of Caen / Ouiestreham, Cherbourg or St Malo, and about 3 hrs from Dieppe.
